Internet Marketers Need to Know HTML
If you surf around the Internet Marketing scene, you’ll see tons of tools designed to build websites and automagically add features that increase click-throughs and sales. Although many of these tools can be time saving devices (and that means money saving) most are actually expensive versions of what can be had for free.
Yesterday, Jason Cain of Goldblogger posted this about software called Focus Generator that creates float-in ads. I read Jason’s site everyday, because he usually has some pretty sound advise.
Float-in ads are very effective. They cannot by blocked. Every marketer should at least have the capability to create such ads. But is a $97 piece of software truely neccessary? I found similar software for $47 that included resell rights. But better than that, after about 15 minutes of searching with Google, I found the code that makes these ads work for free.
I’m thinking about writing a PHP script that will work like Focus Generator, only no software to download. Create float-in ads anywhere you have an internet connection. If I do, I’ll probably only charge $5 a month. I’ll post the code snipet with an example to this blog later today for free.
And that brings me to the title of this blog post. If you are getting into Internet Marketing, then get yourself a fast education in HTML, PHP, and Javascript. There are thousands of free resources online, and having this knowledge will save you a lot of money as well as allow you to begin creating your own profit producing software.

Chris, this is an article I wrote a few days ago (before I knew Armand’s software was coming out) on do it yourself Instant Attention ads:
