Turn $3 into $10,000
In 2005 I expect annual sales of over $100,000 from musical instruments sold on E-Bay. After costs, that should be a net profit of a little more than $30,000. That’s not a lot of money, but that’s from about 2 hours worth of real work each week. As a school teacher it took 60 hours a week to earn the same amount. So although musical instruments aren’t making me a millionaire I’m still making $240 per hour. Not bad.

I may not be a millionaire … yet. But I’m living very comfortably. I have time to play and freedom to do what ever I want. With all of my ventures, I work about 3-4 hours per day. That’s 15-20 hours a week. Some days I take off and go surfing. Other days I work 10 hours straight. The important thing is that I decide when I work. I decide what I work on.
I tell you this because I don’t want you to start off with the wrong idea. I’m no snake-oil salesman. I believe in telling the truth. Selling musical instruments on E-Bay will NOT make you filthy rich.
Here’s a little secret that some people only out for your money will never tell you: although it is possible to profit over $100,000 per year on E-Bay, it takes a LOT of work. I’m talking 60 hours a week. I’m not up for that.
Although you probably won’t get really rich just selling musical instruments, you can certainly use your success and profits as a stepping-stone towards more lucrative opportunities. I’ll have more to say about that later.
